Q. Is my data secure?

A. Yes. BizListers take great precautions to ensure your data remains safe - especially your credit details. BizListers are the holders of a 128-SSL security certificate, meaning your data is encrypted to the highest standard possible.

Q. How long does it take for my listing to become visible?

A. If you pay by credit card, your listing is immediately visible across the world. This happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are paying by Cheque, we must wait until your cheque arrives before activating your listing.

Q. How do I put photos in my listing?

A. BizListers makes it easy for you to upload photos of your business. Once you have completed your listing, simply go to "Edit Listing", move to the "Upload Photos" section, select the appropriate file, and press upload. (Please ensure, though, that your photo is in either .jpg (jpeg) or .gif format, and under 30kb each.)

Q. I made a mistake on my listing. Can I fix it?

A. Yes. BizListers is designed so that any part of your listing can be changed at any time. Simply log on to the members section, and you will be given the choice of which listing you would like to modify. Select it, make the appropriate changes, then record the changes. The database will be updated immediately.

Q. How will a buyer contact me (the seller)?

A. Your business profile on BizListers will give the contact details for the seller of your business. That may be the owner, and agent/broker, a solicitor, an accountant or simply a family member. Purchasers are given the choice to contact you on the details provided.

Q. Why do you use a "hidden" email system?

A. BizListers now employs a "hidden" email system to protect you (our clients). With an open system, it is unfortunately open for people to "farm" your email address and send you unsolicited advertising emails (spam). Your email address is now kept confidential.

Q. Why aren't there "hit counters" on each listing?

A. Unfortunately, putting counters on a listing is a catch-22. If there are lots of hits, purchasers wonder why so many buyers have looked at it and no-one has bought it. If there are no hits, purchasers assume there is something wrong with it (hence no-one is interested). Either way, you (the seller) loses. However, BizListers does keep a fairly close eye on how many hits the site, and indeed each individual listing is acheiving.

Q. How often do you (BizListers) update the database?

A. The BizListers database runs "live". What this means is, there is no designated time to be updated. Every time you make a change, it is reflected immediately. The next time someone views your profile, your changes will be there. This happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Q: How long does my listing stay online?

A. Your listing now stays live on BizListers until it sells! That's right, once your listing is live, it stays in place until you remove your listing from your management page.

Q: How does this FREE 30 Day Trial Listing work?

A. Simply list your business for sale. You will not be billed for 30 days. If you decide the BizListers system is not for you, simply send us an email 2 working days before the end of your 30 day trial. Your listing will be removed, and you will not be billed a cent. It's that simple!
